About Yen Bui
My first name means white sparrow, which is as rare as an albino. Many things came and went but web design is the one rare thing that went beyond a hobby.
When I was introduced to the internet in the summer of 1996, web sites took 2-3 minutes to load and usually did not have the content needed. I felt I could do a better job and make sure the site loads fast. It was only a hobby that became a passion and a near obsession which consumed the majority of my recreational time while in college. After college, I decided to see if anyone would pay me for my hobby and sound advice.
For seven years, I worked for Nautilus, Inc and Pinemeadow Golf as a full time web designer. It was fun and challenging, figuring out what design elements would appeal to the target audience. Collaborative work is key to creating a successful website. It was enjoyable interacting with the different departments to bring together a cohesive finished project and see the results and effectiveness within days.
After so many years being a web designer, I decided that it's time to do something different. I searched high and low but kept designing websites for fun. See Mock-up designs.
